Malaysia White iPhone 4 is Now Available from Maxis

MALAYSIA: White iPhone 4 was delayed for a year and was released last week, and Maxis has become the 1st telco to offer White iPhone 4 in Malaysia on May 4, 2011 (3 days before Mother’s day)

Maxis White iPhone 4 is available immediately. Interested customers may purchase from Maxis outlets. Maxis iPhone price/packages remain the same for the white version (Are you expecting to pay more?)

My two cents

Although DiGi teased about white iPhone 4 first but eventually Maxis got the priority. Rumor had it that Celcom, which just offer Celcom iPhone 4 plans, will offer white iPhone 4 soon, too.

Waiting for iPhone 5? It is unlikely that Apple will release iPhone 5 before September. Read: “Forget About iPhone 5! Here’s 5 Reasons Why You Want to Buy iPhone 4 NOW!”

If allowed, would you exchange black iPhone 4 to white iPhone 4?

Apple iOS 4.3.3 Released, Fixed Location Database Cache Bugs

Apple has released iOS 4.3.3 software update for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch to fix the crowd-sourced location database cache, which previously mentioned. (Read: “iPhone Tracker: I Know Where You Were Last Summer“)

The iOS 4.3.3 update size is few hundreds MB but does only 3 things:

  1. Reduced size of the iOS crowd-sourced location database cache
  2. No longer backs that cache up to iTunes
  3. Deletes that cache entirely when Location Services turned off

You can update via iTunes, or manually download and install the update using the instruction here.
