Amazon Web Services (AWS) has offer free cloud hosting since November 1, 2010 called AWS Free Usage Tier, which offer a free Amazon EC2 Micro Instant for a year.

You can use the free cloud hosting for your new applications or test existing applications in the cloud or simply test and play around with AWS.

It sounds good. But how to register and setup and host your website on EC2 cloud?


Simone Brunozzi from Amazon created a step-by-step video tutorial to guide you the process.

The 11 minute video teach you the steps to sign up AWS, apply and setup AWS Free Usage Tier, and how to upload and host your first website on Amazon Cloud.

My two cents

Before watching the video, I know about the free cloud hosting offer but I do not know how to set up it. Thanks to Simone, now I know how it works.

Now, any suggestion to put AWS Free Usage Tier to good use (for a blogger)? Tip me, please?
