Pingdom FREE is the “free version of the pro service”, no promotional code needed. You’ll get every account features in a paid account. The catch? Pingdom FREE only monitors ONE website of yours.

Anyway, if you have more than 1 websites then you probably could afford the Pingdom Basic account which is USD$9.95/month.

My two cents

With Pingdom website monitor, you’ll be the first to know when your site is down! Even before your web hosting provider aware about the downtime!

I see no reason not to sign up Pingdom free to monitor your website. It is a great service and it is FREE! You have nothing to lose.

Try it and you’ll thank me. :)

Tip: Don’t use the SMS alert, instead use Twitter or iPhone app (free, unlimited alerts).
