Apple iOS 4.0.2 Updates Fixes PDF Bug and Removes JailBreak (Direct download links included!)

Apple released iOS updates for both iPhone and iPad to fix a PDF security flaw. The bug is used by the online jailbreak tool, JailBreakme.com to jailbreak iDevices.

The released versions are iOS 4.0.2 for iPhone and iPod Touch, and iOS 3.2.2 for iPad. You can download the OS 4 update via iTunes or use the following direct download links of iOS4 updates for your iDevice:

Please note that if you have jailbreak your iDevices, the updates will remove the jailbroken status and carrier unlocks.

I have updated my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.0.2. So far, I don’t see any problem nor sighnificant performance improvement.

If you are happy with your jailbroken iDevices and you don’t read PDF file on them, then you probably don’t need to bother the lates iOS updates. My two cents.
