| OMG! Jailbreak iPad in 1 Day! [VIDEO] Posted: 05 Apr 2010 04:48 PM PDT Apple iPad has been jailbreak in less than 24 hours by Musclenerd who tweet “initial porting of “Spirit” jailbreak by @comex to iPad” So, what does it mean to you? Having a jailbreak iPad means you can install Cydia on it to download and install many other apps, without Apple’s AppStore filter/permission. (this could break your Apple Warranty!) For example: With Cydia, you could install the “Backgrounder“, the super-cool app to allows multitasking (run many apps at the same time in the background). Oh yea, multitasking on iPad!A Youtube video has been uploaded to show the iPad jailbreak hack. As far as the video concerned, the hacker gained access to iPad root to start/shutdown iPad apps. Jailbreak-ed! No multitasking demo in the video? Not yet. You will need to wait for the genius to update Cydia for iPad. Or, wait for iPhone OS 4.0 to support multitasking, natively, without need to jailbreak! [via AppAdvice] Will you jailbreak your iPad? Have you jailbreak your iPhone? What are the “must-have” apps for jailbreak-ed iPhone? |
